A small space transformed into an intimate library experience
Once a forgotten room with no real purpose, this small space had gradually become an overflow zone for the home’s storage. We saw an opportunity to give it a new identity, transforming it into an intimate private library designed around the family’s love for reading, music and togetherness.

The Approach
The room was reimagined as a library that makes the most of every inch while creating a space that feels personal, warm and deeply connected to the family.
Designed for an ardent reader, the library now houses the books, objects and things she holds dear. What was once a room that collected the home’s storage now collects the family itself, becoming a place to pause, read, gather and live happy moments.
The design also makes space for every member of the family. Dedicated areas for the children’s musical instruments bring their personalities into the room, ensuring that the library speaks not only to its primary user, but to the family as a whole.
